Average discounts for traditional closed-end funds (CEFs) narrowed during the first quarter of 2024, with municipal bond funds and business development companies (BDCs) rallying yet remaining attractive, said John Cole Scott, AICA Chairman and President of Closed-End Fund Advisors (CEF Advisors), during his firm’s 49th consecutive quarterly research call.
