About Clough Capital
Clough Capital Partners L.P. (“Clough Capital”) is a global multi-strategy investment adviser headquartered in Boston. Founded in 1999 by Charles I. Clough, Jr., who remains the firm’s principal owner, Clough Capital is a private, independent limited partnership registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The firm manages approximately $1.5 billion in total assets as of September 30, 2026.
Clough Capital employs 11 professionals, including four investment professionals: three portfolio managers and one trader. Chuck Clough has served as portfolio manager of each of the firm’s closed-end funds since their launches between 2004 and 2006, and Bill Whelan has served as co-portfolio manager since 2023. That continuity spans the 2008 financial crisis, the 2020 pandemic, and the 2022 rate-hike cycle, all under the same ownership and portfolio management leadership.
THE FUNDS
The Fund Lineup

Clough Global Dividend and Income Fund (GLV), the oldest of the three funds, seeks a high level of total return by investing in equity and equity-related securities alongside corporate and sovereign fixed income in U.S. and non-U.S. markets.
Clough Global Equity Fund (GLQ) pursues a similar total return objective with an equity focus, investing at least 80% of net assets, including borrowings for investment purposes, in U.S. and non-U.S. equity securities.
Clough Global Opportunities Fund (GLO), the largest of the three funds, seeks a high level of total return through a fundamental, research-driven process, investing across equity and equity-related securities as well as corporate and sovereign fixed income in U.S. and non-U.S. markets.
Each fund uses leverage through a committed facility agreement, as well as derivatives that carry embedded leverage. Each fund also maintains a managed distribution* policy: a consistent monthly payout targeting at least one-twelfth of 10% of the fund’s average NAV per share over the last five business days of the prior calendar year. Each fund’s board retains discretion to amend or terminate the policy at any time.
*Distribution rate is calculated using the most recent monthly per-share distribution, annualized, divided by the October 2, 2026 market price (Source: CEFData.com). Based on NAV, the distribution rates were 10.08% (GLV), 10.01% (GLQ), and 10.31% (GLO). Distributions may include net investment income, realized gains, and return of capital; investors should not draw conclusions about fund performance from the distribution rate alone. Section 19(a) notices are available at cloughcapital.com/cefs.
THE CONVERSATION
Q&A with Bill Whelan, Portfolio Manager
Q What makes Clough Capital and its funds different from other closed-end fund sponsors?
Clough Capital is an experienced investor. Since our founding, the firm has invested across multiple market cycles with a focus on preserving capital. We believe our investment team’s combined industry and regional expertise gives us an advantage in investing in themes across global capital markets.
We are also a boutique asset manager, which means our clients get direct access to our portfolio managers for timely market insights.
Q What should advisors know about how the funds are positioned today?
A few data points stand out to us. First, firm insiders collectively own approximately $10 million in fund shares, which aligns us closely with shareholders.
Second, our closed-end funds traded at discounts of approximately 13% to 14% to NAV as of October 2, 2026, which we view as attractive. Another way to think about it: an investor can buy $1 of fund net assets for roughly $0.86 to $0.87.
Third, the funds offer annual distribution rates in excess of 11% on market price, paid monthly. We believe the combination of a high distribution rate and the ability to buy shares at a discount to NAV presents a compelling opportunity.
“
We believe our funds offer a compelling opportunity, trading at a discount to NAV while offering monthly distributions at annualized rates exceeding 10%. With meaningful insider ownership, our interests are closely aligned with those of our shareholders.

FOR ADVISORS
GLV, GLQ, and GLO give advisors three ways to access the same global, research-driven approach with different mandates: GLV and GLO combine equities with corporate and sovereign fixed income, while GLQ maintains an equity focus of at least 80% of net assets. As with any closed-end fund that has a managed distribution policy, review each fund’s current Section 19(a) notice before allocating, since distributions can include return of capital, and weigh each fund’s use of leverage against the client’s overall risk tolerance. Evaluate the discount or premium to NAV separately from the distribution rate as part of entry timing.

Clough Global Dividend and Income Fund, Clough Global Equity Fund, and Clough Global Opportunities Fund (the “Funds”) are closed-end funds traded on the NYSE American and do not continuously issue shares for sale as an open-end mutual fund does. The net asset value (NAV) of a closed-end fund is the market value of its underlying investments (i.e., stocks and bonds), minus liabilities, divided by the total number of shares outstanding. The Funds also have a market price, the value at which shares trade on an exchange, which can be more or less than NAV. The Funds’ distribution policy may, under certain circumstances, have adverse consequences to the Funds and their shareholders because it may result in a return of capital, resulting in less of a shareholder’s assets being invested in the Fund and, over time, increasing the Fund’s expense ratio.

Leverage-adjusted NAV yield is a non-standardized measure that adjusts the Fund’s annualized distribution rate relative to net asset value (“NAV”) to account for the Fund’s use of leverage. This measure is provided for informational purposes only and does not represent the Fund’s actual investment income yield, total return, or performance. The calculation does not reflect all expenses or risks associated with leverage. Leverage can magnify both gains and losses and may increase the volatility of the Fund’s NAV and market price. Distributions are not guaranteed and may include return of capital.
Premiums and discounts represent the difference between a fund’s market price and its net asset value (“NAV”). Shares trading at a discount may continue to trade at a discount, and the discount may widen or narrow over time. There is no assurance that a fund’s market price will converge with its NAV.
Distributions are not guaranteed and may change. Distribution rates do not represent investment yield or total return. Distributions may include return of capital, which may reduce cost basis and have tax consequences. Consult your tax advisor. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Distribution rates do not represent investment performance or total return. Discounts to NAV may persist or widen, and there is no assurance that shares will trade at NAV.
